I left a friend that i love most without saying goodbye,is it okay?

i always think that my friend doesnt take me as her special friend. we used to be close friends but after a while we talked less to each other...and she got close with someone else. consequently i keep distant from her but still say hi when i p by her.however she did ask me if she done wrong to me, maybe she felt coldness in our friendship...last time we met i didnt tell her when i was gonna leave the college as i finished my foundation there and i am about to go to overseas...should i give her a call coz i dont think she would care anyway as she also never return my call and seldom reply my mesages?
