Does the Qu'ran say kill all the non-believers?

Now here is the thing, when people answer this question and cite the page, thing about the context of which it was written. For example if the non-believe makes war upon them then its okay to go to war with them. From my understand Islam is a religion of peace that was hijacked by extremists. But even in Christianity it pretty much says the same thing, kill the non believer, case and point the conquest of the new world.
