Do you think its ok to TTC again?

I know alot of people say its a personal opinion, and to be bluntly honest, the miscarriage was devastating, but as soon as it was complete ( my HcG levels were @ 0 again and my cervix was not dilated anymore ) I was ready to TTC ASAP. The only thing was my doctor told me to wait 2-3 months to try again. I had a natural miscarriage w/o a D&C. My periods were VERY irregular prior to, so I didnt even know I was pregnant, I ovulated and didnt have a period is what the nurse said. So the only way I knew I was pregnant is the hurting sensation of my , so tender and sore, and "wind burnt" feeling, if that makes any sense. I bought a HPT and got a BFP I was only 6-8 weeks along when I M/C, it happened SEPT 7, 2008, Its now DEC 13,2008..its been about three months now,VERY SURPRISINGLY I naturally started my period on the 10th, so currently Im on CD4, Somewhat heavy but bright red blood, not alot of cramping now, the first and second day were sorta crampy, but its all ok now, I can feel it tapering off.... My question is, do you think its ok to TTC , and if so, when do we need to try?? I desperately want a baby but I dont want to try too early or miss this oppurtunity because I dont know when I will get another period without getting put on medication. Also I realize you have to ovulate to become pregnant, and I may not ovulate this time, Im just curious to see what any of you would do in my situation. Any of your answers will be greatly appreciated!!
