wow. I'm so sorry. If you really love him and don't wanna be without him then move with him. If he's there with you then there will always be something for you in california. And if something happens and you guys split, you can always move somewhere else and make a fresh start. I had to do that once. I moved out of my moms, and got a bf who I was with for 2 years. He told me he wanted to marry me and we moved from my hometown in idaho to utah. A few weeks after we moved, I caught him cheating with a new "friend" I had made. I moved back to idaho just to a different city where no one knew me but I was still a few hours drive from my family. I totally made myself into a new person and am happier than I've ever been. P.s. I'm now engaged to the man of my dreams (that I met when I moved back to idaho) and were getting married December 21st. I wish you luck in ur relationship tho! I hope everything works out for you!
